No, each function runs on its own. Access control is often deployed first because it delivers a quick result, then extended according to what the site needs.
Do we know who is on site at any given moment?
Yes. Entries and exits are time-stamped and matched, so the list of people and vehicles on site is available at all times, which matters during an evacuation or an inspection.
Can we manage driver and subcontractor certifications?
Yes. Certifications and documents are linked to the person or the vehicle. The software blocks access once validity can no longer be confirmed, so checking is systematic rather than taken on trust.
Will it work with barriers we already have?
Yes. Barriers, gates, readers and kiosks already installed stay in service, including from different manufacturers. IBITEK handles that integration as a systems integrator, which is its original trade.
How does IBITEK’s access control work?
Every vehicle and person is identified at the access point by QR code, RFID or NFC badge. The software checks permissions, operates the barrier and records the movement with a time stamp.
